2003 Landscaping Victoria Award for Feature in the Landscape

This inner urban contemporary home makes the most of plant and material textures to create an inviting, relaxing outdoor environment which carefully complements the house interior. The waterwall uses individually sliced green limestone pieces, repurposed from paving off-cuts. A galvanised steel climbing frame adds a touch of urban-industrial feel, while subtle lighting brings the water feature and pond to life at night.

This award-winning design has been featured in The Age Domain.

Here's what the Landscaping Victoria judges had to say:

Beautifully constructed and designed, the subtle angles are carefully planned to make the area interesting and inviting. The lines are confident and contemporary.
